Dennis Day (May 21, 1916 – June 22, 1988)[1][2][3] born Owen Patrick Eugene McNulty, was an American singer and radio, television and film personality of Irish descent.
Day was born and raised in New York City, the second of five children born to Irish immigrants Patrick McNulty and Mary (née Grady) McNulty. His father was a factory electric power engineer.[4][5] Day graduated from Cathedral Preparatory Seminary in New York City, and attended Manhattan College in the Bronx, where he sang in the glee club. Day appeared for the first time on Jack Benny's radio show on October 8, 1939, taking the place of another famed tenor,Kenny Baker. He remained associated with Benny's radio and television programs until Benny's death in 1974. Raymond William Stacey Burr (May 21, 1917 – September 12, 1993) was a Canadian-American actor,[1] primarily known for his title roles in the television dramas Perry Mason and Ironside.[1] He also had prominent involvement in multiple charitable endeavors, such as working on behalf of the United Service Organizations.
His early acting career included roles on Broadway, radio, television and in film,[2] usually as the villain.[3] He won twoEmmy Awards in 1959 and 1961[4] for the role of Perry Mason, which he played for nine seasons between 1957 and 1966. His second hit series, Ironside, earned him six Emmy nominations, and two Golden Globe nominations.[4] He is also widely known for his role as Steve Martin in both Godzilla, King of the Monsters! in 1956, which revived his flagging film career, and Godzilla 1985 as well as for being the suspected murderer in the Alfred Hitchcock thriller Rear Window. more....... Edward Ernest "Judge" Reinhold, Jr. (born May 21, 1957) is an American actor, known for co-starring in movies such as Beverly Hills Cop, Ruthless People, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and The Santa Clause trilogy.
Reinhold was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the son of Regina Celeste (née Fleming) and Edward Ernest Reinhold, Sr., a trial lawyer.[1][2][3] He was raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia, until his family moved to Martin County, Florida, prior to his junior year in high school.[citation needed] His father nicknamed him "Judge" when he was just two weeks old. Reinhold graduated from Martin County High School, although he attended Alexis I. duPont High School for his 9th and 10th grade. Anthony Maitland Steel (21 May 1920 – 21 March 2001)[1] was an English actor and singer best known for his appearances in British war films of the 1950s such as The Wooden Horse (1950), and his marriage to Anita Ekberg. He was described as "a glorious throwback to the Golden Age of Empire... the perfect Imperial actor, born out of his time, blue-eyed, square-jawed, clean-cut."[2] As another writer put it, "whenever a chunky dependable hero was required to portray grace under pressure in wartime or the concerns of a game warden in a remote corner of the empire, Steel was sure to be called upon."[3]
Anthony Steel was born in Chelsea, the son of an Indian army officer, and educated at Alexander House Prep School,Broadstairs, Kent before attending the University of Cambridge. When World War II broke out he enlisted in the Grenadier Guards and became an officer. He was badly wounded on patrol in the Middle East, and again in the Far East.
